You will need to be able to provide receipts for your clients.

You can provide these through an online system such as or (among others) or you can write them out by hand.

Your receipt should contain the following:

  • Your name and designations and address
  • GST number (if applicable)
  • Client’s name
  • Services received

Action Item:

Consider how you will provide receipts to your clients and gather what resources you would need to provide them. Eg. purchase a paper receipt book, sign up for an online accounting program, etc.
